What is the Cottonwood Classical Foundation
and why is it important?

According to the school charter, CCPS has the latitude to operate differently than other schools in terms of curriculum, teaching methods and class size. These are some of the reasons CCPS outperforms most public schools. But this excellence requires more funding than the state provides. Funds raised by the Foundation will support and enhance IB curriculum and training, Paideia methodology and training, facility enhancements, enrichment programs, and technology.

Yes. Cottonwood Classical Foundation is a New Mexico non-profit corporation and a 501(c)(3) public charity under the IRS tax code.
